For law firms

The parties to your cases
are published without warning you.

Debt enforcement, bankruptcies, changes of officers, deregistrations: what affects a party appears in one of the registers, on a given day, without notification. Declare it once, and you learn of it the following morning.

Day to day

What escapes you today

The opposing party goes bankrupt

The opening of proceedings appears in the official gazette and in the SOGC the same day. Learning of it three weeks later from a colleague changes the strategy — and sometimes the claim.

The company changes its name, not its debt

In the SOGC, the Official Gazette of Valais and the Official Gazette of Bern, which publish the UID, a watch anchored to that number follows the entity itself. The change of company name, which makes any keyword monitoring lose track, becomes precisely one of the events reported to you.

A debtor pursued elsewhere

The Debt enforcement heading is the best served in the corpus: the party is identified in 99 % of notices and the amount in 98 %. What is published there about your cases reaches you without anyone having to comb through it.

The property case

When the dispute concerns a property, the same watch can target the parcel or the address: public inquiries, building permits and property transfers in the land register arrive through the same channel.

Your watches

What you declare

A parcel is watched by its cadastral number, a company by its UID where it is published: these two anchors survive changes of name. A name or a term is searched word for word, ignoring accents and capitals.

A party, a company

The term is searched in the full text of every publication, in every register. For a company, anchoring to the UID — where it is published: SOGC, Valais, Bern — makes the watch immune to a change of name.

By its cadastral number, when the dispute concerns a property rather than a legal entity.

Universal search

Search for a term, an address or a parcel at once in the notices of Geneva, Valais, Vaud, Bern and Fribourg, in SOGC publications and among the companies in the commercial register, whole words.

What the monitoring does not do yet

The deadlines for lodging claims, the schedules of claims and the closing dates of Geneva bankruptcies are extracted and shown on the notice page; foreclosure auctions of real estate are located and can trigger an address or parcel alert. The objection and appeal deadlines of the notices found by your alerts are tracked on the “Échéances” (Deadlines) page, to be ticked off once dealt with. What does not exist: a reminder sent before the deadline expires, and tracking of SOGC deadlines. You receive the notice and its dates, not a procedural calendar.

Recommended plan

Office · CHF 59/month

The whole firm on the same cases: alerts held by the firm rather than by one person, the complete archive — a useful precedent is rarely the age that suits — and PDF and CSV exports to place a document on file.

Frequently asked questions

Can I watch a natural person?

A watch applies to a term, whatever it is, and its use is your professional responsibility. FAOConsult is a monitoring tool for official publications: it reports what appears about the cases you follow; it offers neither a profile nor a compiled file on a person.

Are notices reproduced as published?

Yes — same number, same headings, same content, with the link to the source. A notice amended by a later correction is flagged as such, so that its figures are not quoted in good faith after correction.

How far back does the archive go?

As far as the collection, with no cut-off, in every plan.

Start with a single watch.

The trial is long enough to see what the registers were saying about your files without your knowing it.
